Standing in Reflection

Standing in Reflection is an installation meant for viewers to reflect on their own pasts, actions, and experiences. While standing amongst the land of the wetlands, one ghost stands covered in lavender, to signal calm, while the other has a lively checkerboard pattern. This pattern is meant to have the viewer reflect on their own thoughts and associations with patterns, and how that might differ from someone else's'. Our experiences shape our perception, so we can appreciate the differences in which we view the world. In this way, we can spread more respect for our environment around us and people all around the world. I am pleading for the spread of love. The friendly ghosts are a mere reminder of that as you stroll by.
